Comfortex was founded in 1986 by Thomas J. Marusak and John Schenebly to fulfill a need for window covering for greenhouse windows.

Nowadays, Comfortex Window Fashions is a leading manufacturer and fabricator of custom window treatments with headquarters in historic Maplewood, New York, just outside Albany.

In 1995, Comfortex expanded its operations and relocated from the 150-year-old historic Harmony Textile Mills in Cohoes to a nearby 100,000 square foot facility located in Maplewood. Discover their innovative window treatments:
